The reincarnation of this 1880s townhome leaves little trace of its former self. While preserving and restoring original architectural details, we enacted a new vision of modern living. On the parlour level, Pietro Russo's repeating rhombus room divider bisects the expanded passage between the living room and foyer. We tripled its original size to increase natural light, expland visual access between rooms and foster a more welcoming entry experience.

An entirely reprogrammed primary suite includes a luxurious limestone wet room, a bronze-mirrored dressing room wrapped in hand-painted wallcovering and striking marble mosaic floors, and a custom Nero Marquina trough sink below suspended medicine cabinets.

Set against a plaster envelope, the traditional cast iron tub was given a modern makeover with high-gloss metallic automotive paint and walnut block supports.
