You've been there...

Tethered to your home for a 5-hour window while you wait on that delivery you shuffled your entire week's schedule to accommodate, hoping it wont show up during your work Zoom presentation.

And lucky for you, you made it to the end of that meeting uninterrupted, but that delivery window came and went with no sign or your package.

So you call the store and leave an angry voicemail while you hop in your car to complete your other tasks for the day. And when you arrive back 4 hours later, there's your package looking like it got its ass handed to it by Mike Tyson.

So not only was your time wasted, but now you'll be out even more of it dealing with the resolution and waiting for what you actually purchased.

Now imagine that times 1,367, because thats the approximate number of items we manage when designing a 6000 square foot house.

And that's precisely why our full-service process includes a receiving warehouse.

When you purchase goods from a store, they magically show up at your front door. But what you don't see is what happens behind the scenes to get those items from the manufacturer all the way to your block. Most of those purchases funnel through a receiver.

Receiving warehouses are used for streamlining delivery logistics, a critical process when handling large numbers of products. Suppliers ship their merchandise to these dedicated, secure facilities where they're inspected for damage, verified for accuracy and completeness, inventoried and stored until transport to their final destination can be scheduled. Typically, orders are sorted according to geographic location then packed on freight trucks for efficient routing, so you and the three other shoppers in your community who also bought items from the same store all receive your packages on the same day. No muss, no fuss.

We often specify goods from hundreds of vendors within the same project, and the logistical manueuvering required to coordinate individual delivery windows to your home for every one of these items would result in both ineffective use of our time and poor stewardship of your investment. Unnnecessary hours of time billing + inestimable risk of damage = exponential stress for both of us.

We're committed to making your experience with us elevated and enjoyable, so when we finally do walk you through your new home, it's not just a relief but a revelation.

We dont use a receiver simply for the efficiency it creates in our process. We use it for the ease it creates in your life.

And just like the freight charge you see detailed in your shopping cart when you make an online purchase, we clearly outline these fees on your furniture invoices so you'll pay for the full journey of your items at the time your approve them. Then, each of them will be funneled to our vetted receiving agents, and any issues that arise will be resolved without you even knowing. Once the project site is ready and all goods have been delivered to the warehouse, we orchestrate and oversee transport of your furniture in a single, white-glove delivery to your home. So you'll never have to coordinate delivery times, spend hours on the phone dealing with claims, or chase your dog running out the front door while your new sofa is coming in.

We can't in good conscience contribute to your psychological distress and ruin the magic of our design by having bits and pieces of it shipped to your home outside of our expert administration.

Protecting your peace of mind is our standard operating procedure.
