Nothing beats the character and timeless appeal of natural hardwood flooring. Whether in historical townhomes or modern apartments, we love using it to create warm and welcoming spaces.

As with most natural materials, optimal performance of wood flooring requires regular care. Separation between boards is entirely normal as the seasons change, but extreme temperature or humidity changes can cause shrinking, cracks, buckling and surface depressions. A controlled environment is the best way to deter adverse effects and prolong its unique character.

Consider maintaining a 60-80° F temperature range along with a humidifier to keep a consistent 30-55% relative humidity during winter months when fireplaces and heaters are in use.
