In New York City, high-rise apartment buildings are known for their large, unsightly HVAC units that not only spoil the view but also take up a considerable amount of space in a room, making it challenging for homeowners to arrange furniture in a practical and comfortable way.
This home located near Central Park exemplifies this dilemma and was an ideal choice for bespoke furniture. We created a built-in window seat with terrazzo end tables equipped with wire management grommets to enhance seating in the compact living area while concealing the setup. The velvet cushions sit atop removable panels for easy access if maintenance is needed, and the lower cabinets house AV equipment for the adjacent TV.

We believe that good design can be both functional and visually appealing and we strive to enhance the utility of our clients' homes while also improving their aesthetics.
