Marc Houston's award-winning, confident spaces exhibit his innate spatial awareness, deft material orchestration, and deep rebellious streak. With a penchant for raising the heat (and a few eyebrows), his work fuses utility, sensuality, and fantasy through unexpected silhouettes, dramatic lighting, and contextual narration. With over 20 years of experience in the luxury design world, Marc credits his uniquely integrated pespective to the architectural rigor honed while working at Workshop/APD, the fanciful flair inspired by his time at Frank de Biasi, the technical focus sharpened as a lighting designer at Illuminations in Washington, DC., and the spirit of experimentation and curiosity championed at Fredrikson Stallard in London where he worked while attending Chelsea College of Art and Design.

Marc launched his studio in 2011, leveraging his diverse international background to craft distinctive homes that challenge convention and push the limits of possibility.  His work has appeared in AD, New York Magazine, and Boston, among others, as well as in the interior design book "It's A Mood." In 2019, New York Cottages & Gardens named him a 'Rising Star,' and in 2022 he was added to Luxury Lifestyle Awards roster of Top 100 Architects and Designers in the World.
