Bringing 20 years of experience in interior, lighting and furniture design, Marc strives to articulate a bespoke and inventive vision of each client's individual identities, curiosities and aspirations in their most sacred spaces. In 2011, he launched his studio to share his passion for visual storytelling through space, to champion more radical and innovative design endeavors and to foster meaningful, synergistic relationships with like-minded clientele. Each home he imagines is unique in it's genesis, inspired from a wide range of cultural, artistic, literary and historical references and marked by the most rare and exceptional objects sourced from around the globe.
To date, MHLI has developed a national portfolio of residential and commercial projects including homes in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Boston, Washington, DC, Baltimore, Houston and Los Angeles as well as corporate office for Sir Kensington's and Helix Sleep. Our work has appeared in AD, New York Magazine, Introspective, Apartment Therapy, Rue Daily and Boston Magazine. In 2019, Marc was honored as a 'Rising Star' by Cottages & Gardens and in 2023, MHLI was named to the ADPro Directory an also to Luxury Lifestyle Awards' Top 100 Architects & Designers of the World.

We provide our clients the inestimable value of an effortless experience and peace of mind, soundly shepherding them through every step of an ultimately rewarding journey. From conception through installation, we manage the entire process on their behalf, freeing them to invest their time where it matters most to them.
Our in-house project administration services ensure nothing is left to chance. We orchestrate the comprehensive complexities of elevated design and execute each component to its precise resolution. Working side-by-side with our trusted team of fabricators and installers, we champion the unique vision we craft for you, blending expertise and imagination to deliver truly unparalleled homes. By sharing our process now, we'll eliminate any hurdles to working together so you can confidently entrust us with your most valued asset.
During this initial phase we'll identify your needs, preferences and specific space requirements and uses through in-depth discovery exercises and a detailed questionnaire. We'll also establish the cost and scheduling elements of the project and develop a complete set of drawings to document existing conditions and propose preliminary floorplans and layouts.
Next, we generate ideas, material selections and all interior specifications and assemble them into a comprehensive presentation comprised of sketches, images, color and finish palettes and preliminary furniture, fitting and lighting selections with their associated investment allocations. Once approved by the client, we move forward into our synthesis stage.
We refine all interior details and develop the production documents required for implementation including technical drawings and proposals for orders. We also administer the entire construction bidding process on behalf of the client, advise them on the best apparent offer and assemble all of the necessary team members for implementation.
Upon receipt of payment for items, we place and manage orders and direct them to a local warehouse for the duration of construction. We remain the sole point of contact for the client through construction completion, liaising with contractors on site and with fabricators for custom elements to ensure adherence to design intent.
We coordinate and manage delivery and placement of all furnishings down to the very last detail, including hanging of artwork, styling of decorative accents, storage of dishware and even dressing of beds, should you desire, so you walk into a fully-realized, turnkey home.
We helm full oversight of our bespoke designs through our in-house project management services to ensure nothing is left to chance, to verify adherence to design intent, to protect our clients' investment and to champion our vision amongst our diverse team of fabricators. The result is the synergistic alchemy of our imagination and the expertise of our trusted contractors and artisans to deliver unparalleled homes.
